Debs Millington

There are numerous reasons for nominating this wonderful woman but here is just one. In 2007 Debs realised that there was a need for an RDA group in the Stranraer district. Debs set about researching how to get a group up and running . She inspired and galvanised a small group of friends and TERALLY BAY RDA group was born in April 2008 . TERALLY BAY RDA group is a place where every volunteer feels truly appreciated so we have retained 90% of our original volunteers . Our riders both young and old benefit hugely from riding in a friendly and safe enviroment . This would have been impossible without the dedication , commitment and hard work of Debs. Debs has managed all this whilst battling cancer . She is modest , caring , cheerful and hard working . Debs is our friend and local hero and we are proud to nominate her for this honour.
