Debbie runs our local pub 'The Bell' with her husband she is fifty years old and a bundle of energy. When Debbie's friend Kate died of cancer she raised money for St Elizabeth Hospice where she died by organising a music festival in Kesgrave. This has become an annual Favourite. Debbie organizes the annual Fun run to remind us to keep fit, our MP Dr Dan Poulter is a regular runner. When I was diagnosed with Bowel cancer Debbie was the first through my door with roses and comforting words. She has been there for me through liver and lung cancer. When I had a tumour from my lung removed with Radio Frequency Ablation at the Ipswich Hospital and discovered the doctor running this procedure was in need of some more charitable funding I asked Debbie could she help, she didn't need to think twice 'I will run a pub trivia quiz for you'. I could continue about visits to the elderly and sick and organised holidays for her customers the list goes on. Debbie never looks for praise or recognition she does it because she enjoys it and we all love her for it
