In the future I hope to be able to continue encouraging as many people as possible young and old to take part in sport and physical activity. During my long career in sport I have managed to work with every age group from mini gymnastics for the 1-5 yearolds right up to the over 50s in sports development. I have been involved as a volunteer in a number of sports clubs including table tennis tennis cricket squash and volleyball. I am totally passionate and enthusiastic about my own participation and hope to inspire others to believe that THEY CAN and age is no barrier. As a 54 year old two years ago I took up triathlon and next week I will be competing for GB in the World Triathlon AG Championships in Beijing. How amazing is that! She loves sport. Competing teaching organising and developing. Young or old she gets them involved. She deserves to carry that flame!
