Debbie's nomination story

My personal best achievement is when I qualified as a Guider. Eight years ago I became a leader and now run both Rainbow and Guide units at our church. As well as organising weekly meetings where we encourage the girls to try new things and develop new skills, I have participated in numerous weekend camps and activity days. This October I am giving up my time to help produce a Pantomime with 70 scouts and guides and this year, for the first time, I have joined the production team for our Gangshow. Over a period of 5 months I will be rehearsing every weekend with teenagers from across our district to stage a show at Chingford assembly hall. I am extremely proud of my work with Guiding and believe that I have made a positive difference to the lives of hundreds of girls as a result of my involvement.
