Debbie Horton

i hope my passion will inspire other for the future as i wont be a young person forever and we need that commitment to the young people in the communties. my passion for the community brings me together with proffesionals to work out strategic plans in order for the young people to benefit. i am part of vox youth council which is made up of just 15 young people from the whole of warwickshire to be the voice of the youth. we have to be voted in and on the voting forms they young people in schools and youth clubs who vote tick what is important to them whether it be drugs and alcohol or sexual health. i have campaigned to reduce a speed limit which was successful from 40mph to 30mph and traffic calming measures put in place to make it safer.it helps spread happiness among other young people in the community as they know they have a voice to represent them and to be heard.
