Debbie Foote

Debbie is an inspirational young person who has been a real icon to young people in her School Sports partnership and the county. Debbie is a PE and School Sport ambassador and was the person who instigated the petitions that she presented to the Prime Minister on the steps of No. 10 following the funding cuts to the school sport partnership, she also opened the national SSP conference in Telford in 2010 giving a speech about the value of PE and sport for young people. She gives 100% to support other young people doing sport. Young Ambassador since Oct 08 (Chaired UK Steering Group July09-July11) Petition to Downing Street of 660000 signatures and meetings with DfE, securing £130million for PE & School Sport. Opened SSP conference in 2009 & SCC conference in 2011
