Dawn Doherty

Being an amazing mum. She is always there for me encouraging me to do my best and to try new things. I would love to give her this chance.inspire others through my dedication to my family and to the community through the Girl Guiding movement. My husband is in the RAF and has recently served in Afghanistan and is now based in Aylesbury. During the week and most weekends I take care of my two children whilst working full time for child protection. I encourage both children to try new activities and do the best that they can. I recently received my 20 year long service award for my work with rainbows brownies and guides and also became a district commissioner. I enjoy working with all the girls to teach them new skills and be there for them when they have any worries. Along with other guiders we take the girls on weekend holidays which gives the girls more confidence.
