David Taylor

David has worked tirelessly locally for some years now as President of the Local Lions Club, raising funds for many good causes & now on the National Board, He is Chairman of the Local Cancer research Society organising fund faising events every year & managers our local independently run Tourism office as well as doing Volunteer work as a director of our local Task force & Local community Swimming Pool. David has inspired many local people to Volunteer their time in helping others whether this be in the tourism office. the pool raising money for Lions or Cancer research or in his many other roles. David is constantly looking for new ways & initatives to help others & his tireless efforts often mean him giving up his time for others. He works constantly at ways to help promote the tourism office which has enabled this facility to be self funded over the past 3 years since the council withdrew it support, as well this David has sought ways to promote the community pool to all people so as it may also continue to survive without district council subsidy's. In short he is a very insperational person keen sportsman & an invaluable member of the community.
