(Virgin Media) Since joining the Beavers at a young age each year I have pushed myself to give as much as I can to my community. Going through the scout movement meant I always enjoyed and actively helped with programmes designed around helping and improving peoples quality of life. 10 years on I have raised nearly £10,000 for charity and that figure will only increase this year as I am completing 4 charity runs with the final run being the great north run. I am also a 4 year volunteer within the British Red Cross providing event first aid, emergency ambulance technician. Finally since September 2010 I have been sworn in as a special police constable within Cleveland police, I regularly volunteer my time to fight crime and anti-social behaviour around the Redcar and Cleveland area.
