Recovered from 2 bouts of cancer a few years ago and has just raised £3000 for Help 4 Heros.Encourage people who have been ill or had setbacks as I did to think positive and always look forward as that is the only way to go. Raising money for help for heroes gave me tremendous satisfaction so I will continue to help those less fortunate than myself. I want to carry on with my busy life with my many friends and family as I derive so much pleasure from being active. Carrying the torch would make me feel VERY proud as a few years ago I thought I may not have been able to lift a torch!
