David Sheppard

Over a number of years David Sheppard has relentlessly and consistently dedicated both his work time and personal time to fundraising for a variety of charities he is determined to support his local community. David is always willing to help colleagues and proactively goes beyond what is required of him in his day job. He supports community improvement projects around education and disadvantaged grous. He set up a Corporate Social Responsibility forum in Brighton and Hove with over 10 members and representatives from the local council and teaching groups. The forum successfully helps businesses share community investment related issues and work on collaborative projects where a need is identified in the local community.David shows passion to help others through personal volunteering and fundraising. He has run several marathons raising over £3,000 for Macmillian Cancer Support and has volunteered at the Brighton Marathon. He also supported the EDF Energy London to Paris bike ride, raising funds for Mencap, and volunteers for local education events.
