I am nominating David for the Olympic Torch relay, for the difference he makes to the lives of young people in his community. I have worked with David at Panasonic for about 6 years. During that time he has been involved with mentoring disadvantaged young people, working as a Scout Leader and as an Army Cadet Force Instructor.
Currently he volunteers three nights a week for the Scouts and Army cadets in the Bridgend Area. He also attends many weekend camps throughout the year. Allowing the young people to have many opportunities to take part in activities that are both challenging and adventurous, that develop their life and leadership skills. He often enthusiastically talks about the adventures and camps he has gone on with the Scouts and Cadets. David is also learning to be an activity instructor for hill walking, canoeing and the Duke of Edinburgh Award, so he can offer a wider range of actives in future.
I would therefore like to put David's name forward to carry the Olympic Torch CR
