Dave Gilmore

David has made a difference in a number of ways. Firstly he works for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service which he is dedicated to, he also co-hosts a radio show once a month on Preston fm to promote fire safety and to celebrate young achievers in the community. He also does many school talks in local high schools/collages to create awareness of road safety. He is founder, coach and manager of an under 10's football team in our village encouraging the boys to work as a team and get active. David is a Parent Governer at two schools which involves many evening meetings putting accross not only his views but also comments and suggestions from other parents. David more recently became a Magistrate at Preston Magistrates Court which is all voluntary, he is particularly passionate about this as his decisions directly affect the local community.
