David Flynn

David works in Neath, South Wales and has a hearing difficulty. He has been raising money for charity for more than 35 years and estimates that he has raised around £33,000. He has done fun runs, fun marathons, ½ marathons, sponsored walks and bike rides. He has raised money for the British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research Wales, RNIB, Ynysymaerdy Special School Briton Ferry, Neath, Rockwood Hospital Wales, Tenovus Wales, Macmillan UK, Christian Aid, Oxfam, Save The Children Fund, Help For The Heroes, Healing The Wounds Wales and RNLI. David also raises money by persuading football clubs to autograph shirts which he then raffles. Most recently he has been raising funds for Prince Charles Hospital, Merthyr Tydfil and clubs which have obliged include Swansea, Arsenal, Blackburn, Newcastle and the Manchester clubs. He is also a member of Neath Harriers Athletic Club, where he is the official photographer.
