David Evans

I am absolutely passionate about Badminton. I play and train hard. I also Line Judge International events and Umpire to National level.I want to play Badminton to the best of my ability and play and train about four times a week. I hope to be able to play in a University Team whilst studying Medicine. As a Line Judge I want to continue travelling around the World to International Tournaments. I have just returned from the US Open in California and am going to Denmark in October. As an Umpire I believe I am the youngest in the UK and have recently Umpired the Natwest Island Games where I met players from as far afield as the Falklands Greenland and St. Helena. As a very young Umpire I hope to inspire others to become involved in Officiating in Sport as it is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in World Class Events. My ambition: to Umpire the Olympics in the future.
