David, or Dixie as everyone knows him, presents the breakfast show on Real Radio Yorkshire

Dixie works hard to forge strong links with communities in West + South Yorkshire, and this dedication doesnt stop outside of work hours. Dixie is always first in line when it comes to lending a hand and going the extra mile. One great example of this is the huge lengths he went to on GMG Radio`s Help for Heroes Day 2011. Dixie helped lead a team of fundraisers in a truck pull from Leeds city centre to Real Radio in Tingley - a distance of more than 4 miles. They raised thousands of pounds to help our wounded troops.
