Dave Baynes-Robinson

In a sports context, he has run 17 & rowed 10 marathons for charity, cycled across the USA, run to Paris and Lands End to John O`Groats, amongst many charitable feats, raising many 10s of thousands for charities and inspiring many others along the way. He has spent 20 years at the front end of public service, 10 in the sports industry, 10 in education, improving the lives of thousands of people as a trainer, teacher, motivator and simply as a friend. In his work he recently performed excellent work as the personal assessor/tutor to the Football League`s Apprentice of the Year. To me he is more important as my husband and friend. Our daughter is an absolute daddy`s girl and both are very much devoted to each other. A loving Dad, he completed his Masters Degree dissertation with her strapped to the front of him to make sure both baby and MA got the time they needed. Finally, it is worth considering that Dave was born with an eye problem that was never picked up by the doctors, opticians or teachers. Upon noticing it, the damage was done and Dave has managed all this, from very early years, with just one working eye.
