Darwinn Bernardo

Darwin has for the past 6 years been a role model within the local community of Barnet. Inspiring over 4,000 young people to become activiely engaged within their community. From Setting up the youth empowerment organisation Nutmeg Community in 2008. Darwin has been able to work with various organisattion such as Princes Trust, Metropolitian Police, Home Office, Barnet Homes, Choice Fm, Unltd and others to help promote their services to other young people so that they are exposed to opportunities that help them steer away from the life of crime and causing Anti Social Behaviour. Darwin sits on the Barnet Executive Childrens Board as a representive of young people from the borough, he also sits as Chairman of Transport for London Youth Participation Panel , helping raise awareness of the London 2012 Olympics , Teen road safety and Safer travel at night. As well as encouraging young people to volunteer within their community and inspire a generation of role models.
