Danielle Pryce

Danielle has helped set up a local Fun Football club for girls (7-11yrs) in the Aberystwyth area. She helped promote the club by going into local Primary schools and now coaches a group weekly and encourages them to enjoy the game and improve their skills. She is a Gold Ambassador for the school/county and has helped deliver training for the Silver Ambassadors by organising a training conference. As part of her role she promoted the 2012 Games and highlighted the Olympic Values by taking a school assembly. Danielle has also volunteered to assist with the 5x60scheme (Sport Wales initiative) in school, encouraging more pupils to 'get active' by taking part in lunchtime and after school sessions such as table tennis, girls football and hip hop. Danielle was part of a team of volunteers who ran 5x60 Roadshow in school to promote the importance of physical activity to Years 7+8.
