Danielle's nomination story

Danielle is an outstanding sportsperson with a great ability in a range of sports. She participates in swimming outside of school, at which she excels. In school she is an all round athlete, participating in the school hockey, netball, football, athletics and cross country teams. She is also Ulster Primary Schools` Cross country champion. She shows great commitment and dedication to her sport and is a fine example for our other pupils to aspire towards. Achievements in swimming: Member of Larne Swimming club, Irish Junior Swimming Squad, Representing Ulster in Luxembourg (Jan2012), 200m backcrawl- attempting Olympic qualification time for 2016, 2 gols medals in Ulster school championships (200m backcrawl, 100m individual medley), 8 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal in Ulster Club championships (and 8 new Ulster age-group records set), 4th in back crawl in British Championships, Awarded Elizabeth Long trophy for most promising U11 swimmer in Ulster.
