In June last year, I was involved in an accident at work which resulted in me losing my left arm. This life-changing incident made me truly and fully aware of what costly consequences there can be of any Health and Safety incident. In the year since, I have worked not only at re-establishing my lifestyle but also at proactively spreading the messages of Health and Safety globally within our Company. I also shared my story in our annual Health & Safety Day video encouraging other colleagues to be aware of safety measurements. I hope that 270,000 colleagues worldwide were able to take something home from my experience.
