Dan's nomination story

Dan has a physical disability (cerebral palsy) and is passionate about all Sport, despite the obvious barriers he has followed an education in Sports Coaching (BSc Hons) and in doing so he has given up hours of his time to coach others, in particular disabled people young and old. Dan has secured a job as a Teaching Assistant and is dedicated to assisting young people who are also disadvantaged. Dan was also recognised for his determination and was nominated and received the Princess Diana Award, Dan never asks for anything and never complains about his disability, he is positive role model to other people wishing to proceed in the world of sport.
