(Stagecoach) Daniel is a truly special ambassador both in the workplace and in the community. His welcoming smile and dedication to helping people has been recognised with numerous awards. As a ticket office clerk for south west trains at Mortlake Station, Daniel has won a clutch of awards for his customer service. He takes full ownership of his station and everyone that travels through it. His manager Martin Taylor, Flagship station manager, Richmond says he is 'a pleasure to work with, and his customers and colleagues love him. He really is an outstanding person and a massive asset to us an organisation and to the local community'. Daniels awards over the past dozen years have included: 1. Institute of customer service National Front-Line customer service professional of the year 2008. 2. South West Trains employee of the year 1999 and 2007, 3. South West Trains Service Excellence awards (Highly commended) 2006. 4. National customer service awards, customer service professional 9nominated) 2004. 5. National Railways employee of the year (runner up) 2000. Daniel has also had a close involvement in the local community. As well as previously being involved in community work through his local church, for the past two years he has given educational presentations on railway safety and travel to pupils at High view Primary School, Clapham Junction, London.
