I am a primary school Teacher that works tirelessly to inspire children from challenging backgrounds to realise their aspirations.The children I teach are excited about the Olympic Games coming to London in 2012 and many have aspirations to be future sporting stars. I give them every opportunity to achieve this by providing after school football and athletics clubs. A few years ago I was told by a physiotherapist that I would be unable to run long distances. With training I was able to run two half marathons for the first time in my life in 2010. I am currently in the ballot to run the 2012 London marathon. It is my dream to complete the London marathon whilst I'm still able. It would also be a dream come true to carry the Olympic flame. I would use this event to help me to inspire the next generation to follow their dreams by showing that anything is possible!
