Daniel Maskell

I have been involved in local community musical theatre for over 24 years. I have produced several shows for the group I'm with and written and produced concerts. I'm also involved in charitable concerts with the group such as Chrstmas concerts for Mencap. Some of our shows involve children, who gain much confidence and social skills from the events and a very differnet experience to that of school. I have also been involved in the production of musical theatre within our local church bringing opportunities to all walks of life. A also ran a local youth drama group for a couple of years with the emphasis on developing children's confidence rather than performance. I would like to think that my involvement has given opportunity and pleasure to many people over many years. But most rewarding is the feedback I hear, convincing me that this is an important cultural experience to many.
