Daniel Grant

Dan is an international 1-Wall Handball player. He competes individually to the highest standard (ranked no.1 in the UK). He also represents the nation on the England Team. He is both the European and a World Doubles champion.

Dan is also the Chair of the England 1-Wall Handball Association (a voluntary role) and is passionate about getting young people playing the sport. He's pioneered 1-Wall Handball in inner city schools. It's a version of the sport that only requires a ball and a wall. People of any age or background can play, regardless of sporting experience. It's a great way to have fun, keep fit and grow character. Dan has introduced the sport to more than 2000 young people, and got 4 schools to take up the sport permanently. He's launched the first purpose built handball centre in London and is working with UCL to give more people sporting opportunities. CR
