Dan Dring

Daniel has had a tough time lately with the loss of a close work colleague, his Grandmother and his sister (from a brain tumour) all in the last 2 years. Daniel's energy and vitality has managed to take all the sadness and loss and turn it into something positive. He has completed the last two London marathons coming in under 3 hrs 40 mins, raising over £8000 for the charity Clic Sargent. If my nomination for Daniel to have the amazing honour to carry the Olympic torch is successful it will be a just reward for the selfless dedication, support and love he has shown to his family and friends. This nomination will not be just for Daniel it will be for all his family and friends who will want to be there and run alongside him. I therefore nominate my son Daniel to carry the Olympic torch with joy and pride for his country, his community, his friends and family in Shelly's name. Thank you
