Craig is a full time fire fighter and works tirelessly for the youth of his local town of Bo'ness in West Lothian. He initiated and manages the 'Cozy Blanket Youth Music Project' which provides opportunities for young people to develop their individual musical talents and lets them experience other aspects of the music industry such as recording, stage management, performing and marketing. He is now paid a wage from the council to manage this project but invests ALL of this back into the project. He subsequently organizes local music festivals to showcase some of this young talent. He fund raises for the church youth group and community radio station. He also raises money for charity (CF) by running marathons and competing in triathlons. Furthermore, he is a 1st responder with the Scottish ambulance service which he does on a voluntary basis. He has also organised annual fun runs for the local school kids. He does all of this in his spare time and for no financial gain and I would like to nominate him to be a torch bearer for the 2012 Olympics as recognition for all of his selfless community work. I am not paid a wage from the council, I do local fundraising to manage the music project.
