What strikes everyone about 19 year old Constantine Louloudis is his absolute modesty given his already growing status in rowing. At school he was an exceptional rower always displaying his modesty. He won the World Rowing Junior Championships in the four in 2009. In 2011 he merited a place in the strong GB Rowing Team men's squad but decided to complete his academic studies at university with the full support of British Rowing. In July 2011 he won a gold medal at the Under-23 World Championships and is taking a gap year from study, giving him a strong chance of winning a place in the rowing team at London 2012. He is a real team player and always shows respect for others recognising the importance of fair play.
