2 years ago I was in a horrific accident in which I was set on fire. I spent 11 months and 2 weeks in a hospital. I was never expected to survive my injuries as I was burnt to 90% of my body 3rd and 4th degree burns. I was only left with my scalp and buttock unburnt and underwent 100 medical procedures including skin grafts using only this skin. I suffered numerous complications and life threatening conditions related to the burns. I now front a fire safety campaign in schools and colleges throughout the region trying to prevent such a horrendous accident happening to any other kid and showing them the consequences of messing with fire.
