This is the man who does everything in life. embraces a challenge and succeeds. He has piloted a brand new passenger hovercraft and catamaran across the solent He's ridden a horse across a course and piloted a small aircraft, piloted a glider around the isle of wight, taken control of the lifeboat and taken control of a rescue. Hes most recent challenge was to ride a motorbike with sidecar around smallbrook speedway. He has raised 5 fantastic sons (believe me, I'm one of them) and has raised amazing amounts of money for the charity retinitus pigmentosa which puts money to find a cure for blindness. All this without his eyesight. Colin is blind and raises thousands of pounds a year to fund the repairing and restoration of thousands of peoples sight. When you hear about him or meet him you will know straight away that this is the man who deserves to carry the Olympic torch.
