Colin Hay

Colin is a youth worker with young people. However, what sets Colin apart is his drive and his commitment to engaging some of the most disadvantaged groups of young people in the Perth area, often at his own financial cost as well giving up his own time and holidays to make sure that these groups of kids experience something that would often be seen as being out of their reach. Colin set up and funded a breakfast club for young people in homeless accommodation. The man is a giant in the field of youth work, and is so inspiring to watch and to be a part of. Colin was the victim in an accident a number of years ago that left him in a coma for a period of time, resulting in a loss of a leg, making his commitment and drive to achieve the best possible outcomes more incredible. I lost the full use of my leg and have no feeling in it, I was with the use of a splint, I still have my leg.
