For the past 10 years Cliff has volunteered with the Evelina Children's Hospital Transplant Sports Team. Not just at the event but continuously throughout the year. All the children that compete from the Evelina have had a kidney transplant, the transplant games are a celebration of life and it would not be possible to get the children there without fantastic volunteers such as Cliff. Not only does he drive them to whichever city is hosting the games but also making sure everyone is where they should be at the right time all 120+ over the 4 day event. He supports and encourages the children throughout their events, in particular swimming where he helped a 15 year old with special needs win a bronze medal by being beside him all the way ensuring he completed the race. The boy said after that knowing Cliff was with him all the time helped him achieve his medal, a medal that many thought he would not get. He is always happy to do whatever he can for the transplanted children and their families and his only reason is to say thank you for having 3 healthy children of his own!
