Clem Laidler

Clem is an amazing, inspirational swimming coach. Leading Stockton Amateur Swimming Club for many years he has improved the swimming of hundreds of children in the Stockton on Tees area. He is always enthusiastic and does it in his own time as a volunteer. He has helped children to achieve their full potential and has trained swimmers up to national, international and even Olympic standards. Clem brings a team along and does a brilliant job at leading the rest of the volunteers in the swimming club who all appreciate his commitment and sense of humour. I (and the other parents who I've spoken to in relation to this nomination) cannot think of any better sports representative in the Tees Valley to carry the Flame and we hope his nomination is supported.
