Clare Culf

Clare is my lovely wife and wonderful mum to our two daughters, Lottie (8) and Katie (6). I'm nominating her in recognition of the work she does in inspiring the children in our parish. Clare is a parent volunteer at St Cuthberts Catholic primary school, working with young children to help improve their reading skills through 1:1 reading sessions and group guided reading. She's also helped to start their culinary journey by teaching them cookery skills. For two years she was Chairperson of the School Association which through events such as the Christmas and Summer Fairs, 80's night, school disco and Easter Egg hunt raised around £24000 which contributed to building a performing arts studio for the school. She remains an active committee member, supporting fundraising at the school. Clare also volunteers at our church, running childrens classes during church on Sundays and she recently completed the London to Brighton cycle ride raising £2000 for the BHF.
