Twenty four year old Christopher Rocks is a fencer from Shetland who in 2010 won the Scottish Open Championship. He represented Scotland at the Commonwealth Fencing Championships in Australia that year, winning a bronze medal in the Épée discipline. Christopher was ranked in the top 30 in Great Britain and named Shetland Sportsperson of the Year for 2010. He graduated from the University of Glasgow with a first class honours degree in Economics in 2009 and is currently volunteering for an international development organisation in Nairobi in Kenya.
