Chris Hare

Chris has been the 'key stone' of our charity committee for many years. He is a main organiser for our large fundraising events and Chris pioneered our Charity 'sound system' van 5 years ago. Chris has built and fully manages three portable sound systems; donating them and his time, FOC to local charities and community organisations, enabling them to have a professional sound system without the associated hire costs. These events are mainly at weekends and Chris often comperes for the day. In 2011 alone, Chris went to 28 events; Steam Rallies, Carnivals, Country Fares, School Fetes, Discos and junior Rugby Tournaments saving approximately £8k for these organisations. The equipment is GE branded and provides positive visibility in the local community to thousands of people.Chris has received considerable positive feedback from local associations and I can think of no finer example, or deserving individual, to carry the flame.
