Chris Collins

Sport is the main focus of my uni degree and the biggest passion in my life. Sport is what I wake up in the morning for and I love it!I come from quite a rough and deprived area in South Manchester and still live very close to there and any sort of sports equipment or proper organisation was hard to find when I was a kid so I would use anything to take part in sport whether it would be kicking a tennis ball around in the street racing my mates down to the shops or challenging anyone to see who could throw a stick the furthest. I just wanted to be the best at everything! Now i've battled hard through school and college and am doing Sport and Exercise Science at Chester University and my goal now is to work in the sports industry for the rest of my life. I've had to work incredibly hard to get where I am today and to carry the Olympic Torch would be a dream come true!
