Chris's nomination story

Chris Adams was given an empty building and told he had to secure the future of vulnerable young people, giving them a chance in life. Today (10 years on) that building houses 12 supported flats and operates a successful catering business that allows young peolpe to train and earn a living.The building has to self fund so all catering proceeds go back into the project.Chris works tirelessly 7 days a week to ensure that everyone who passess through RKDIA's doors is given the life skills, emotional support and guidance to set them on the right track .Homeless youngsters, drug users, criminals, no one is refused and all are given time and support to ensure they succeed. Chris spends his days and nights coveting business for the catering side, securing funding and grants, supporting the young people and now outreaching to all local schools and mentoring vulnerable or unstable students.A HERO
