Chris Knock

As a primary teacher performances art and running are her passions and she is commited to the inculion of all in every event she organisesI am a Primary School Teacher and I am passionate about raising the asspirations of the children I teach in Middlesbrough. I am a runner and ran the London Marathon this April. Every child in our school ran a Mini Marathon to support me and raise money for Cancer Research. It was FANTASTIC! I also run an after school arts club and we recently put on a show for family and friends to celebrate our school's 100th birthday. Again it was AMAZING to see the children perform and feel so proud of themselves! I am also passionate about visual arts and the role they can have in teaching children and raising their self esteme. I organise a BIG ARTS WEEK at our school every year and the children and their families love this community event.
