Chris's nomination story

Christine is an amazing women, she has been fostering children for over 40 years and has now fostered over 400 children. Christine has brought these children into her home and treated them as if they were her own. Christine goes above and beyond for the children, some who have had terrible upbringings and some who are disabled. Christine will take the children on holiday as she would her own every year. Some children have never seen the seaside before, and Christine ensures they get to experience it. Christine can have children of all different age ranges, and also a few at a time. The most children she had fostered at one time was 6. At the moment Christine has 3, a baby of 3 months, 2 year old boy and 4 year old girl. Christine always puts the children first as 14 years ago christine had breast cancer and had to have chemothearpy and a mastectomy but Christine carried on fostering to make sure the children did not get disrupted. Christine also lost her husband who was a great support 4 years ago, although this was difficult for christine she carried on and supported the children. Now she is still a foster carer on her own, and loves very minute of it. Christine deserves this so much, so she can shine and put herself first for once.
