Carrying the Flame through
Carrying the Flame on
Christine's nomination story

My Dad brought me up on the borrowed wisdom 'to be the best you can be'. So I worked hard and played hard; active in body and mind; in heart and spirit. I was Valedictorian of my grade school class; graduated magna cum laude from university and made my mark in a publishing career that with hard work and good fortune has taken me to over 100 countries. I have run the graduate trainee programme for the company and mentored many a new employee. I will be 60 in 2012. My plans for a post working life will be to play it forward: to volunteer for community youth service and encourage others by example and education a how to be the best they can be. I pledge to be a great grandmentor. I've been training all my life to be a Future Flame.. An active 60 she has a large young family of relations friends and colleagues and inspires them to try to achieve ever more
