Christine Braddock

Dr Christine Braddock CBE has given loyal and outstanding service to education for the past twenty five years. She was awarded a CBE in the January 2008 Honours' List for her Services to Further Education. As Principal and Chief Executive of Birmingham Metropolitan College, she is an exceptional leader with much enthusiasm, energy and passion which has made the further education institution one of the top performing colleges in the UK. Her inspirational thinking can be seen in many areas; sponsorships with global companies such as Samsung, Caterpillar and BDR Thermea which provide skills training in the college Academies' bespoke unique learning environments. Her connections to the business community and her capacity to drive the institution forward ensures that the College leads the way with innovative practices for education and training.
