It would mean a huge amount to all his mates at the Social Club for Autistic Young People they would be thrilled, feel so involved and so proud if ONE OF THEIR GANG was awarded the huge honour of CARRYING THE OLYMPIC TORCH. Chris would absolutely love to do it. He is an awesome young man. a great mate, inspiration and advocate at meetings and conferences for his friends at our Social Club for Autistic young people. Fantastic role model at Action for Children to young children with disabilities and Children in Care -although it takes Chris a huge amount of self organisation to get himself to the meeting places! Wonderful example to thousands of children at countrywide Cheerleading events. gentle, biddable, charming, polite and kind at all times. athlete and lovely person to spend time with. Supported his sister through years of childhood hospital stays and careful looking after her while she struggled with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. Comforter and supportive when our granddaughter died and his big brother committed suicide. Popular at school in his special "Green Pathway" group. Achiever against all expectations with his complex cocktail of learning disabilities Studying BSc (hons) Psychology at University.-with a language disorder!! Always Humble as he accepts help with life skills for a semi independent lifestyle.
