Charlotte's nomination story

Charlotte is working towards pushing through a measure for the 'Young Carers' of Bexley. She is passionate about helping those less fortunate than herself (although raised solely by her mother since she was 9 months old). Charlotte has just been voted Deputy Chair of Bexley Youth Council (BYC) because of her commitment over the last 2 ½ years, attending training sessions on 'challenging disability', using this to volunteer with the SEN section of BYC - attending a youth club to interact with disabled youths and coffee mornings at an elderly peoples care home, usually with her home-made cakes for them to enjoy. Charlotte represents BYC at events - Q&A sessions with London Mayor, Taking part in the first Youth Debate at House of Lords & a Debate on the 2012 Olympics at City Hall. Charlotte fits all this around revising for GCSE's and gaining top marks in her recent tests.
