Charlotte's nomination story

Charlotte has been working with the local Beaver's for many years. She spends every Thursday evening helping to run their gatherings, and helps to organise and run a camping trip every summer for the group. By doing this, she helps provide a really valuable place for local young kids to go, let off steam, and learn new skills.

Charlotte spends at least two hours each week helping to run the group. She also spent a whole weekend taking the group away on a camping trip this summer, which also took a lot of organising beforehand. She helps to organise and run the trip every year. This year, she used the groups policy of giving a day to do community or charity work to take a Saturday for the camping weekend.

Charlotte really wants to give back to her community, and despite a busy life working for us and bringing up her two girls, she still fits in this extra workload to help her local community. When most of us fall into the sofa after a day at work, she gets up and deals with a hall full of excitable children, week in, week out. She's a trooper, and really deserves to be recognised for what she does.
