Charlie's nomination story

Has inspired me,in that I can push my boundaries and achieve the things I dream of also to be a better person. Charlie has cerebral palsy yet lives a very active life, has done sking, acting, horseriding and got gold for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. A real go-getter, she swam the equivalent of the English Channel, raising money for ASPIE charity. Has won awards for dressage. I have never heard her complain. A volunteer for the Trussell Trust Food Bank, who provides emergency food to local people in crisis, I know her colleagues and clients for all she does value her. A friend that is there for you, caring, loving, encouraging, supportive, generous, humble. Shows respect for others as she listens, is considerate, fair, keeps her word, shows others they are valued, goes the extra mile without expecting a reward. Shows respect for the rules, is a good winner and a good loser.
