Carrying the Flame on | |

Charlotte is just 19 and has been a regular member of All Saints' Church, Long Marston congregation since her birth. She is on the hospitality rota and helps greet the congregation and serve tea and coffee after services. She attended the village Church of England School and she helps with the 'Youth Week' in July at another Church within the Benefice.
I have watched Charlotte grow into a mature, caring, helpful Christian - a bright flame in this place.
Charlotte has recently been elected to serve on our PCC and is the youngest member of any PCC within our Benefice. We believe she is the youngest member of a PCC in the Deanery and, possibly, the Diocese.
Charlotte acts as a Steward at our regular Open Days welcoming visitors into our Church, assisting them as they look round and providing refreshments.
I would like to nominate Charlotte as a most suitable young person to carry the Olympic Flame.
I have the support of my fellow Churchwarden and all the Members of our PCC. This nomination is in response to a request from The Diocese of York which asked 'Could a member of your Church or Church School carry the Olympic Flame?'
