Charlie is an exceptional young man whom dedicates countless hours of his own time to coach and develop the youngest members of our football club. Charlie started in assisting in coaching at the age of 14 (whilst still actively playing for the club) siting the reasons that he wanted to give something back to the club. 4 years later he has developed into a mature young adult whom is able to bring out the very best in these children. Since completing his FA level 1 certificate in coaching football at the age of just 16, he has been taking a more active role in coaching sessions and now has the responsibility for running our Under 8's team - which not only includes training on a Saturday and taking them to matches on a Sunday morning but also arranging fund raising activities, planning coaching sessions and taking the children to football tournaments. The rapid development of the children is a testament to Charlie's hard work, dedication and ability to communicate with the children. This is even more remarkable given that Charlie suffers with learning difficulties but instead of this being an obstacle his determination has known no bounds and the children have been the beneficiaries. He is a credit to the Club, his family but most of all himself. Well done Charlie.
