Cem's nomination story

I spent 2 months of my life by working in villages at Tatvan (a city in the eastern part of Turkey with a very low income per capita). There is a belief in East that people in the W are bad and I tried to change this blief even in the minds of the children. Now, my aim is to show the people in the West how wrong their prejudice about the East is. I became a teacher, farmer and beekeeper in villages of Tatvan. While doing these I had so much fun, I was awfully tired, and I saw lots of things, I listened lots of people, I played many games, I got very excited, I had many disappointments, I drunk lots of tea, I became very hopeful, I planned many things, I dreamed a lot and I made others dream a lot, I judged myself a lot and most importantly I learned a lot. Briefly, Tatvan is the place of lots for me. I want to spread the message that communicating is so powerful , just give it a chance is all it takes.
